Boab Trees of the Kimberley Parry Creek Farm Boab Forest
Parry Creek Farm Tourist Resort and Caravan Park is situated in the Parry Lagoons Nature Reserve and is home to a large Boab Tree forest, the Boab is from the family Malauceae, it has a swollen base which resembles a bottle, it is endemic to the Kimberley and Northern Territory Region of Australia. These trees can live up to over 1000 years and some of these specimens are in this area. Parry Creek Farm is host to many of these amazing trees, they have some amazing shapes which make for great photographic opportunities.
