Mike hails from the South Island in New Zealand and has a love for all things Rugby, travel and passion for food. Mike has been a chef for the past 20 years working in the UK and across Australia which has given him a great platform to work in a variety of kitchens with some amazing chefs creating exciting food.
Mike has the ability to produce delicious food across any cuisine however his love for all Asian foods and flavours does rise to the top.
Mike’s background varies throughout different cuisines and from small intermate to large scale restaurants, he has also worked for Atlantic group in their major production team for the Melbourne Grand prix and Spring Racing carnival where he created and delivered exceptional food to the premier marques at each event.
After first travelling to the Kimberley in 2018 working at the Bungle Bungles, the love for this stunning region took off and other than a slight hiccup of being in Melbourne during COVID in 2020 the Kimberley has been home during each dry season.
